Welcome to the magical ancient art of water marbling! At Colour Drop Design we bring the beautiful, ancient art of water marbling to the 21st century by inviting YOU to be the artist. Come and make, or watch other “designers” of all ages and abilities make their own one-of-a-kind handmade water-marbled silk scarves. Each artist chooses their colours and floats the paint one drop at a time on the surface of the water, then uses marbling combs, rakes, or stylus to create the design to their liking. We then print the item with your finished design. It’s absolutely magic!
Looking for a fun way to connect and create? Join us in the Okanagan for our SIP & DIP Water Marbling Workshops. Create a silk scarf or items that are offered. We make the process easy and fun for all ages and abilities. Sip and Dips are hosted by award winning wineries. The ticket will include all supplies to make and take and a beverage option from our hosts!

Private Event
Are you looking for a way to bring art to your special gathering? We love to travel the Okanagan and bring our art to you. We travel our local area and require a minimum of 15 silk scarves.

We require a space 10 feet by 10 feet on hard floor surface or grass. If indoors we bring tarps and mats to protect your floors. We also require access to water and a drain.
Private sessions must be paid in advance.
